Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Post-traumatic Stress Disorder is a type of anxiety disorder triggered by exposure to very distressing events, experienced as traumatic situations. Although it has been mainly related to combat veterans, it may be developed as a result of several events (or of a series of events) that have had an extremely strong influence on the body (i.e. road accidents, consequences of crimes, sexual abuse, natural disasters, etc.).
Many people in adolescence encounter problems of transition from childhood to adulthood. The most common reasons are the different way of perceiving people and situations experienced both by themselves and by people around them, and the fact that they are faced with existential issues, as they are unable to accept what is happening to them. Counselling process for adolescents recommends individual sessions with a psychologist.

However, it is not classified as a medical condition.
If you have serious issues in your day-to-day life or problems of psychological nature that you cannot communicate to a psychologist, there is an anonymous counselling – psychological support service, provided by professional mental health counsellors. Anonymous counselling is recommended to people of social status that cannot give a solution to their problems, as well as to people that cannot communicate their problem by revealing their identity.
If your couple has reached a level of stagnation, and you seek solutions to your problems, couple counselling therapy is the solution for a qualitative day-to-day life with your partner. Modern couples encounter problems, which are unprecedented for our era, and in many cases they find it impossible to cope with them. The long-standing common path of two people entails the loss of essential constants, such as understanding, communication and mutual respect.
Individual counselling, or psychotherapy, is performed for two reasons: Preventive, in order to avoid the creation of chronic psychological problems, such as phobias, stress and peace of mind management. The aim of preventive individual counselling is to enhance the individual’s psychical apparatus via sessions. The second reason is therapy/remedy as regards issues encountered by the individual in their day-to-day life, for which they are unable to provide a solution.
